ISHR team helps Ukrainians affected by the war
At the beginning of June, our team visited Putivl (Sumy region). We distributed 600 individual kits to help people survive the winter. Each kit contained a pillow, blanket and bed linen.

Our team visited Bila Tserkva (Kyiv region) to install a water purification system, assess repairs to the sanitary facilities of a psycho-neurological institution and a children’s boarding school, and hand out hygiene kits. We thank our partner – the humanitarian organisation CARE.Ukraine – for their support.

Our team delivered hygiene kits, bed linen kits and mattress to Zaporizhzhia region to equip two shelters for internally displaced people. The campaign also provided hygiene kits to families and residents of Matviivska territorial community.

Our team delivered sanitary kits to psycho-neurological boarding schools in Tarashcha and Olshanitsa (Kyiv region). We also assessed the amount of building materials needed to determine the scope of the repair work we plan to start in the near future with the support of our partner – the humanitarian organisation CARE.Ukraine.

At the end of June, the ISHR team sent 200 humanitarian kits containing medical supplies to those affected by the destruction of the Kakhovka dam. Our team will continue to develop its humanitarian activities and provide assistance to anyone who needs it.

On June 30, 2023, the ISHR team attended a food security and livelihoods cluster meeting in Poltava region.
ISHR has been actively supporting communities in Mirhorod district (Poltava region) with food aid for more than a year. We were pleased to share the results and experiences with our partners and to discuss plans for the implementation of further humanitarian projects in this region.
During the event, we also took part in the election of a coordinator for humanitarian work in Poltava region.
