European Commission launches helpline for refugees from Ukraine
On 16 May, the European Commission launched a special helpline in Ukrainian and Russian for refugees from Ukraine.
The helpline can be called free of charge within the EU at 00 800 6 7 8 9 10 11 for advice in Ukrainian and Russian. Those outside the EU can call the helpline at +32 22 99 96 96 (international standard rate applies). The helpline also has a free call back service.
On these numbers, refugees can get advice on a wide range of practical issues: conditions for entering and travelling within the EU, access to education, employment, health care, and much more.
