„Voices of War“ is a project of the Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group aimed at collecting materials and interviews with witnesses of the Russian occupation and Russian war crimes in Ukraine.

This project is part of the global initiative „Tribunal for Putin“, the creation of which was initiated in February 2022 by three well-known Ukrainian human rights organisations – the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union, the Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group and the Centre for Civil Liberties. The aim of the global initiative is to hold those responsible accountable for international crimes as part of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

The International Society for Human Rights is involved in the translation and dissemination of the „Voices of War“ project materials into German and English, so that as many people outside Ukraine as possible can learn which atrocities the Russian army has committed and continues to commit on Ukrainian territory.
