By the decision of the State Inspector, the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Special Penitentiary Service were brought to administrative responsibility for several episodes of an administrative offense against Mikheil Saakashvili, provided for in Article 44 of the Law of Georgia “On the Protection of Personal Data”. The Ministry of Justice was fined GEL 500 ($ 161), the Penitentiary Service – GEL 2,000 ($ 647).
