Germany has launched a website to help refugees from Ukraine adapt

The invented character will help children and adults learn German and understand German culture.

Germany has launched a special website with Mikola the boar as a guide. The goal of the portal is to help Ukrainian refugees adapt to life in a foreign land.

Mikola, a funny character wearing a cap and a neckerchief, will explain the peculiarities of the German language and teach how to communicate with policemen and doctors, how to ask for help and how to shop.

The portal was created by the Federal Association of Catholics in Economics and Management.
