Anti-war rally in London called for “getting at least some Russians out of the propaganda swamp

Dozens of people gathered outside Parliament in London for Russians against the war. Many were holding white, blue and white flags, which have become a symbol of protests against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“For a long time we came out to the protests together with Ukrainians, carrying BSB flags to show that we are here,” said Ksenia, one of the organisers. – Eventually we decided to separate, to show that we are Russians, that there are many of us. We want the voice of Russians who oppose the war to be heard louder,” reports bbc.com

Among the speakers at the event were restaurateur Alexei Zimin, economist Andrei Movchan and Vladimir Ashurkov, executive director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation.

“Our task is to get at least some of the Russians out of the swamp of propaganda,” Zimin said from the podium.
