Petition for a UN-WAR CRIMES TRIBUNAL on the crimes committed by the “Islamic State”
The “Islamic State” has openly committed genocide and the most serious human rights violations against “unbelievers”. However, the International Criminal Court can only punish those responsible in the countries whose governments have signed the agreement, which is not the case with Syria and Iraq. For this reason, a trial must be held following the model of the ad hoc tribunal held by the United Nations for Rwanda. According to Chapter VII of the UN Charter, the decision to form a tribunal can only be made by the UN Security Council.
Many of the perpetrators are publicly known; for example, through their own posts on the Internet and through the reports of survivors. Through this action, more victims will overcome their fear, break their silence and report.
