We cordially invite you to the press conference and presentation of the new IGFM documentation:

“The horror in my house:
Systematic human rights violations
in the occupied territories of Ukraine”

Date: 24 September 2025, 11:00 a.m. Location: Zoom meeting

Dear colleagues,
dear interested parties and friends,

Since the Russian full-scale invasion on 24 February 2022, Ukrainians living in the occupied territories have been subjected to systematic oppression, persecution and torture by the Russian occupying regime. On the occasion of the publication of the new IGFM documentary “The horror in my house”, we cordially invite you to our press conference on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, at 11:00.

Together with experts and those affected, we report on the precarious situation in the territories occupied by Russia: from forced filtration and compulsory passports to the Russification of education and culture, mass deportations and torture.

The situation of thousands of Ukrainian civilians who were unlawfully arrested and imprisoned is a particular focus of the analysis. The documentary reaffirms that the aim of the Russian war of aggression is to eradicate the Ukrainian identity.

The following spoke:

Liusiena Zinovkina – human rights
activist and wife of abducted Ukrainian civilian Kostiantyn Zinovkin

Dr Andreas Umland – Analyst at the Stockholm Centre for East European Studies
(SCEEUS) of the Swedish Institute of International Affairs
(UI)

Dr Manfred Sapper – political scientist,
expert on Eastern Europe and editor-in-chief of the journal Osteuropa (DGO)

Valerio Krüger – Spokesman of the Executive Board of the ISHR
