Dear members and friends of the International Society for Human Rights!
On behalf of the Board of the IGFM, I would like to cordially invite you to our 52nd Annual General Meeting.
We are delighted to welcome prominent speakers such as Lev Ponomaryov, co-founder of the Russian human rights organization „Memorial“ and former member of the Duma, and Karinna Moskalenko, Armenian-Russian lawyer before the European Court of Human Rights.
For obvious reasons, the focus of our conference this year is on Eastern Europe. We have therefore invited speakers from some of the countries most threatened by Russia. We are also paying particular attention to Armenia, the oldest Christian country in the world, whose very existence is under threat. Iran, where the human rights situation has deteriorated dramatically over the past year, is another focus.
We also warmly invite you to the General Assembly of the IGFM – German Section e.V. with reports and further greetings (see separate agenda).
Dear friends, the annual conference is the most important event of the IGFM, where members, sponsors and interested parties meet and exchange ideas with the board and staff. Please support us by attending in large numbers! I look forward to seeing you again in Bonn.
Yours
Edgar Lamm
Chairman
IGFM – German Section e.V
