Russian captivity kills!
Ukrainian NGO Vitsche organises demonstration in Berlin
28/07/2024
16:00 – 18:00
At the crossroads near the Brandenburg Gate
On 28 July, a mass demonstration will take place near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to demand justice for the estimated 28,000 Ukrainians, including civilians, being held in inhumane conditions by the Russian Federation. This event will also mark the tragic anniversary of the Olenivka prison massacre, in which many Ukrainian prisoners were killed.
We demand:
- Immediate release: Unconditional release of all Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilians;
- End mistreatment: Immediately end to all forms of mistreatment and ensure humane conditions in captivity;
- Accountability for the Olenivka massacre: Call for an independent international investigation of the Olenivka massacre;
- Adherence to international law: Strict adherence to international humanitarian law.
The demonstration will take place from 16:00 to 18:00 at the intersection near the Brandenburg Gate. Further details on the exact location will be announced closer to the date. We invite everyone to join us to raise awareness, demand justice and show solidarity with those suffering from illegal detention.
