Statistics of Belarusian protest. 4 years of repression

There are currently at least 1,385 political prisoners in prison.
Some 65,000 people have been arrested in four years as part of political persecution.
At least half a million Belarusians have fled Belarus 500,000
More than 74,000 cases of repression have been registered in four years: searches, short-term and long-term detentions, interrogations, etc.
At least 6,971 people are known to be criminally prosecuted.
1,140 political prisoners have already served their time.
At least 2,671 people have been convicted for participating in protests (part 2 of Article 293 and Article 342 of the Criminal Code.
Six political prisoners died behind bars. They are Aliaksandr Kulinich, Ihar Lednyk, Vadzim Hrasko, Ales Pushkin, Mikalai Klimovich, Vitold Ashurak.
Five people were killed during the protests and as a result of arrests. They are Aliaksandr Vikhor, Aliaksandr Taraikouski, Genadiy Shutau, Raman Bandarenka and Andrei Zeltser.
Six human rights defenders are currently in detention. They are the president of “Viasna” Ales Bialiatski, his deputy Valentin Stefanovich, lawyer Uladzimir Labkovich, coordinator of the volunteer service of “Viasna” Marfa Rabkova and volunteer Andrei Chapiuk. Human rights activist Nasta Loika is also behind bars.

At least 268 political prisoners behind bars are at high risk. This group includes 19 people with disabilities, 103 people with serious health problems, 63 people over 60 (many of whom also have significant health problems) and 10 people with mental health problems. In addition, 23 adolescents were detained as minors, and 39 political prisoners are parents in large families. In at least five families, both parents are known to be in prison.
At least 1,325 women have been convicted in criminal cases. 179 of them are currently incarcerated. 435 women have the status of former political prisoners after their release from pre-trial detention centers and penitentiary institutions.
