Zaporizhzhia is now back on everyone's radar. Europe's largest nuclear power plant in the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia region in south-eastern Ukraine has recently came under fire again. In this war-torn region, there is a large influx of internally displaced persons and the need for humanitarian aid is enormous. ISHR would like to support the supply of life-saving medicines at a time when the medical and logistics infrastructures are under increasing pressure.

ISHR team provides targeted help in the war zone where others cannot reach. As part of the UN water sanitation programme, we were able to install a water filter in a rural school in Hornostaipil and provide food to 3 institutions for elderly care. Watch our video! ISHR Ukraine: personal help goes on 4-8 July 2022, Shyshaki, Poltava region, Ukraine. IAC ISHR together wit Save the Children delivered 200 family hygiene kits that include washing powder, soap, toothpaste and other hygiene items for 605 internally displaced people that are located in Shyshaki community. This action is the first joint action of IAC ISHR and SCI.
