Dmitri Vrubel came to Berlin right after the political change 1989 and was inspired by the freedom that was in the air for his second most important work \u201eDeutsche, wie beneide ich euch\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>At that time Russia lived with the Brezhnevism. These two works are in our \u201eMauermuseum-Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>His \u201eBruderkuss\u201c is also part oft he \u201eEast Side Gallery\u201c in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dmitri Vrubel was a close friend oft the \u201eMauermuseum- Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie\u201c and consulted the founder of our useum, Dr. Rainer Hildebrandt (December 14th, 1914 \u2013 January 9th, 2004), lived and worked in his private house.<\/p>\n<p>Alexandra Hildebrandt, director oft he \u201eMauermuseum- Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie\u201c: \u201eWe are sad about Dmitri Vrubel. He left us far too early.
