Furthermore, the authors underline that there are still problems in the field of human rights that need to be resolved.<br \/>\nThe letter reminds that the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, prepared by Eleanor Roosevelt, will be solemnly celebrated around the world in 2018.<br \/>\n&#8220;Naturally, the Republic of Azerbaijan, as part of the civilized world, is not excluded from this process. We hope that you will continue the longstanding tradition of signing a pardon for a number of prisoners this year,&#8221; write the authors in the letter.<br \/>\nIn connection with this date, human rights activists call on the president of Azerbaijan to pardon prisoners who are the subject of discussion of Baku&#8217;s official website and international structures.
