Further illegal proceedings in occupied Abkhazia

In occupied Abkhazia, another illegal process took place.
According to information from the so-called “Security Service of the Republic” (SBR) of occupied Abkhazia, the so-called court in Sukhumi has issued a two-month jail term for father and son, Achiko and Paata Rogava. Both were detained on April 6 outside the occupied territory.
At the moment, the prisoners are in custody. The “SBR” of Abkhazia announced that Achiko and Paata Rogava are guilty of group crossing the administrative boundary. In addition, a criminal case was opened against Paata Rogava for resisting the so-called state authority. Father and son, Achiko and Paata Rogava, residents of the village of Rica, in the municipality of Sugdidi, were detained by the so-called border guards on the left bank of the Enguri River. They are accused of illegally crossing the so-called border. According to the family, this occurred on the evening of April 6, while they were looking for a pet (horse) together. They insist that the detainees did not cross the so-called border. The relatives of the family have repeatedly protested at the Engur Bridge, as they have not been informed about the condition of father and son.
