This was stated by the head of the Equality Council, Jan Feldman<\/p>\n

“There is discrimination in Moldova. There is discrimination in Moldova based on the criterion of language. People who speak all languages in Moldova – Russian, Romanian, Gagauz, Ukrainian – have enough rights. The question is how they are applied and how the state reacts to such problems,” Feldman said.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the head of the Council emphasized that most often in such situations the state does not take the problems seriously and “prefers to keep them quiet”.<\/p>\n

“And here we cannot disagree that the state, most often, does not react to these kinds of problems, does not take them seriously and prefers to keep them quiet,” Feldman stressed.<\/p>\n
