The project was implemented with the support of the ISHR German section, with funding from the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"layout layout_size_l layout_type_2pane layout_vertical-fit layout_letter\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">In the course of the project, court hearings held in courts of general jurisdiction of Yerevan city, as well as Shirak, Lori, Armavir, Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions, as well as cases examined in the newly established Anti-Corruption Court, were observed. During the project, more than 150 court hearings were monitored in Armenia.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"layout layout_size_l layout_type_2pane layout_vertical-fit layout_letter\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The conference was attended by representatives of the judiciary, international and local human rights organizations. Coordinator of the Central Asia and Eastern Europe programs of the ISHR section of Germany Carmen Krusch Gruen, Russian representative of the international organization Vladimir Novitsky, Sose Barseghyan, lawyer of the UNHCR Armenia representation, Hayarpi Zargaryan, judge of the first instance of Yerevan, Isabella Iskandaryan, head of the law department of Eurasia University, Ara Gharagyuzyan, lawyer of the Helsinki Association, Chairman of RA Public Anti-Corruption Committee Movses Aristakesyan, media representatives, other guests.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n\n\t\t<style layout_letter\">The Report was sent to all guests in advance, as well as provided on site.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span class=\"layout layout_size_l layout_type_2pane layout_vertical-fit layout_letter\"><br \/>\nBela Shikaryan presented the program, results and further actions in general terms. Carmen Krusch Gr\u00fcn presented the activities of the ISHR international network. Hayarpi Zargaryan, the judge of the court of general jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan, emphasized the importance of the project in the administration of justice, noting that it is of particular interest to see the observers outside the courtroom during the working discussion. Project coordinator Sirak Yeghiazaryan presented the report, recorded problems and suggested changes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span class=\"layout layout_size_l layout_type_2pane layout_vertical-fit layout_letter\"><br \/>\nProject observers Kolya Mkrtchyan, Agapi Manukyan and Hovhannes Shakhkulyan presented their observations, recorded problems and recommendations in the form of a presentation.<br \/>\nThe presentation of the report was followed by an active and effective discussion, experts and guests asked questions and suggestions to the participants of the program.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion was active and productive. Our specialists were able to restore the site several times, which was &#8220;constantly&#8221; broken by the aforementioned hackers.
