This is one of conclusions, made by experts of the CBS-AXA Institute, who presented the results of opinion poll \u201cCivil Literacy in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus\u201d on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Political Scientist Sorin Mereacre said that in Ukraine and Belarus, respectively, 83% and 88% of people know what Constitution is and which rights and duties are written in it.<\/p>\n<p>Answering to the question \u201cWho is power subject in your country?\u201d, 34% adults said \u201cpeople\u201d, while 39% maintain that it is citizens of the republic of all nationalities.<\/p>\n<p>30% of Moldovans said that President has full authority, 19% \u2013 that country\u2019s president represents executive power. Only 40% of Moldovan citizens know firmly that the Parliament is legislative power. At the same time, each fourth respondent is sure that the Parliament is executive power.<\/p>\n<p>Expert Vasile Cantarji stressed that the importance of the research is that it was for the first time conducted in three countries at the same time. In Moldova, the opinion poll was carried out among 410 adult Moldovans in June through September 2016. In Belarus, the number of respondents was 1 thousand, while in Ukraine \u2013 2 thousand.
