The largest number of people found refuge in these countries: Germany (28%), Poland (24%), Czech Republic (9%).<br \/>\nCompared to May, the number of people with temporary protection increased by 1.1% (45,800 people).<br \/>\nThe largest increase in refugees from Ukraine for the month was recorded in such countries:<br \/>\nGermany &#8211; 21,830 (+2.0%);<br \/>\nCzech Republic &#8211; 9,050 people (+2.7%);<br \/>\nIreland &#8211; 3,100 refugees (+3.7%).<\/span><\/div>\n<p>At the same time, refugee flows to two countries decreased in June compared to May:<br \/>\nPoland (-13,635; -1.4 per cent);<br \/>\nItaly (-1005; -0.6 per cent).<br \/>\nEurope has an unequal ratio of Ukrainian refugees to the local population.<br \/>\nThe highest number of Ukrainians per thousand population is recorded in the following countries:<br \/>\nCzech Republic &#8211; 32.2;<br \/>\nPoland &#8211; 26.6;<br \/>\nEstonia &#8211; 25.8;<br \/>\nBulgaria &#8211; 24.9;<br \/>\nLithuania &#8211; 24.7.<br \/>\nAs of 30 June 2023, 98% of temporary protection beneficiaries in the EU were Ukrainian citizens.
