Given that the enormous contribution to the protection of human rights by Martin Luther King, Jr., is highlighted in the proceedings<\/a> of the republican seminar on the topic \u201cHuman Rights and Personality. The Role of the Individual in the Knowledge, Protection, and Realization of Human Rights\u201d conducted by the organization in Brest in 2019, and some progress in the implementation of the rights of the African American minority made in the USA over the past decades, as well as recent events in Minneapolis related to the killing of George Floyd by the police, which showed that the problem of respecting the rights of the African American minority remains acute, the board of the Belarusian section of the ISHR cannot remain silent, especially since racial discrimination and racism are condemned in United Nations documents.<\/p>\n
