The articles that dishonour, insult and calumniate the human right defender are being constantly published in the mass media.<\/p>\n<p>We consider those articles as pressure and injustice against Ms. Gahramanly, who is the chairman in the well-known NGO. She always defends Human and Oil Sector Worker&#8217;s rights in the country. She has disclosed shortages, corruption facts and ecological problems in SOCAR operation by bringing them to the agenda, preparing monitoring and research reports to make the oil sector transparent; she has executed extensive measures to strengthen social control over these issues.<\/p>\n<p>We, human right defenders \u2013 the active members of the civil society organizations, strongly condemn those attacks against Ms. Mirvari Gahramanly, the Head of the Oil Worker&#8217;s Rights Protection Organization and the human rights defender, and consider them to be related to her organisational activity.
